Our 2023 Graduate Programme kicked off in February and they have already experienced the workings of a wide range of departments. A total of seven graduates were placed across different branches including Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin.
Although this is just the beginning, our graduates have worked in a variety of departments including Warehousing, Administration, Banana Ripening, Domestic Procurement, Key Accounts, Branch Management, Sales, Internal Audi, and Imports Procurement as well as spending some time visiting growers to understand how the supply operation works.
The graduates have been building relationships with customers, growers, and produce teams, gaining insight into how their operations work first-hand. The graduates have gained varied business exposure and training from their first day, including involvement in the largest retailer trade show. The experience from the rotations in many different areas of our organisation is invaluable. These rotations not only provide a varied insight into the business it also spotlights the depth of knowledge our people have.
